CoD: BlOps 2 sold 140k
Monster Hunter sold 130k in Japan alone
Scribblenauts Unlimited sold 110k
Sonic Racing etc. sold 100k
Arkham City sold 90k
AC3 sold 80k
Epic Mickey 2 sold 70k

Still less than 10%. This does not bode well.

Does someone need to redo their math?

Nope... Do you?

140,000/1,800,000=0.07

A 7.77% attach rate for third party at launch, which is shocking.

That's just blops 2 now add them all together, to find attach rate.

Sonic Racing sold 100k on the Wii U alone? All versions of the game included it must have done very well..

If I support the game company, then I won't be supporting the blank DVD business.

Yup. Really bad attach rate for third party anything, even CoD which is surprising.

Sure is living up to the Wii name!

None of us bought a Wii U for that piece of trash game.

And as for the actual good games like AC 3 and Batman, we've all played them already.

.. and yet 3rd party games barely sold 50k, am i getting this right?

You know most below 50k numbers are from early on right? You know games are still in stores, so the can sell more...

Is a launch console, people need to buy the console ($300-$350) plus games, thatīs why it sold more in other consoles (plus the bigger install base)

I got the Wii U, and I had only for 1 game, I got NSMB U, like many other did the same, launch a CoD game in 1 year or 2 years and I bet it would sell a lot more....

Also, most gamer own a PS3/PC/Xbox so they can probably got that version for a bigger online community...

Actually, this thread clearly says "third party games only sold 50k," which is false to begin with but never was it mentioned until you decided to bold type a fictional quote.

Sorry, but you lose this one, you're grasping for straws to save face but you're still wrong.

Doesn't work like that, you do it for individual products, not combined because in some cases you would have over a 100% attach rate which is impossible. Trust me I deal with this for a living.

For comparison Gears of War had a 20% attach rate 3 months after release, Super Mario Galaxy had 12% (roughly) and the first Uncharted had 15%.
