Skyward Sword...

#111DH2007Posted 12/26/2012 9:31:42 PM
Fi was the absolute worse thing in Skyward Sword. I don't see how people find Navi more annoying. As a matter of fact I don't see how people find Navi annoying period if all she really does is say "Hey" and "Listen" or "Watch out" while Fi will repeat something you literally just read 2 minutes ago. But real talk: this game isn't a bad game it's just not as good as previous Zelda games. And I'm just throwing this out there, my favorite games in the series are Wind Waker for console and Link's Awakening for handheld.

too bad SS was one of the worst Zelda games ever, unlike Skyfall, which is the very best Bond film in a long time

Skyfall was for sure not the best Bond film in a long time. Casino Royale beats everything it does, except for the song. I liked the opening song about the same, but not the opening itself. Everything else, Casino Royale has it beat in. Skyfall was a somewhat better than mediocre, which is to say it was a bit better than Quantum of Solace.

Your opinion is quite laughable to me. SS is definitely not the one of the worst Zelda games ever, just like Skyfall is not one of the best Bond movies ever. They're both a bit above average, like around 7-8/10, but both could have been way better in their respective series'.

Skyfall had a .1 lead in ratings on IMDb.com and also goes back to the spy-ish riffs of 007, so, stick that in your pipe and smoke it. CR is great, but Skyfall is just greater.

also, already explained why SS is terrible.

Lol, I don't care about the ratings. People rated Casino Royale worse than it deserved just because Daniel Craig was introduced. Now that people are used to him and Skyfall was a decent movie, people are overrating Skyfall. Plus, all that hype from other people about it, completely overhyped. Although, I'm glad people are paying attention to the Bond series at least, it's awesome.

Also, it absolutely does not go back to the spy style of Bond, I don't even know how you can think that. Skyfall's been compared to the Bourne series for its style.

Skyfall is just not as great. The intro wasn't amazing and the villain was all over the place. The only part that was really great was the ending, for obvious series reasons. Although, I still like Judi Dench for that role.

And I know you explained why you think SS is terrible, I just think your points are either not as bad as you make them out to be, or not good at all. As I said, it makes mistakes, but it's still an alright game.

it does too go back to the old spy style of bond at the very end with the two major series changes. a male m and Moneypenny. not sure how you could have missed those important details. I have seen every single bond film aside from Dalton and Lazenby, since those ones are horrid, just like SS

is single handedly one of the worst experiences of my gaming life. Between attacks not being properly read and feeling like a toddler playing it (with them holding your hand almost the entire way, and unable to truly ignore it due to that loud obnoxious moronic constant beep) it truly does not make me excited for the next Zelda, that will use the gamepad in a very gimmicky way.

Gee I'm sure glad I tagged you as "Troll" because I might've actually read this and BELIEVED it!

I set my Wii up at two different houses, and know now to set it up. problem is that motion controls are garbage. just like in Metroid prime when I aim right, for example, Samus doesn't look right, or it lags.

i and MANY others didnt have an issue with that, so probably u just suck at the game, or the motion control is flawed

you must not have played a 3D Zelda before since this is the first linear one ever made. very watered down game. OoT and TP I have finished four times each at least and both are the best, followed by WW. TP is my fave. Skyward Sword sucks though.

b**** please:
i still own the original N64 zelda, the basics are exactly the same, the backtracking in this game was certainly annoying but overall the zelda experience is almost the same, in some gameplay features is even better than the OoT, being blinded by nostalgia doesnt make the game bad, but again i agreed this SS isnt the best 3D zelda of the bunch

Yes, it goes back to the content of the source material, but I addressed that. I liked the end, and it was the best part of the movie, but it didn't make up for the rest of the movie being merely alright. I meant that it doesn't feel very James Bond-ish, focusing on action all the time, and the Bond girl disappears pretty fast. And Skyward Sword isn't horrid, there's fun to be had if you don't focus on the flaws so heavily, but it's not amazing, I'll agree with that. But then, neither is Skyfall, so I guess it's all Skyfall Sword.
