Are you really that simple? It's called "basic" for a reason. It's for casuals.

What's the point of buying the deluxe set if NintendoLand comes free with the basic set on BestBuy.com?

Not wanting nintendoland? I got the premium set and love the game, but the value isn't there for those that don't want the game.

For people like me who have no interest in that game. Also for people who don't envision they will be using the local storage at all but have an external hard drive. After owning a Deluxe Wii U that crapped out on me, I can safely say if I ever repurchase one, it will probably be the Basic model.

A. You don't want Nintendo Land or don't care about the extra accessories.
B. You prefer the white console over the Black.
C. The 32 GBs in the black don't matter since you own an external hard drive anyway.
D. All of the above.

It's only a matter of time that you can get Nintendo Land on the cheap anyway after people get done trading them in out of the Deluxe Box.

Any game can be hard-core. It's not up to the game, but the actual player. Somebody could play Halo 4 half an hour a week while somebody else could play Angry Birds five hours a day competing for the best.

What the hell does it being called basic have to do with that model being for casuals? It comes with less stuff than the Deluxe. That's it.

Honestly I have the deluxe and I don't think NintendoLand was worth the difference, but black does match my home theater setup so there's that.
