Will Starfox Wii U be amazing or is the series dead?

The last original game was a "Create Your Own Adventure" game.
I REALLY don't see how they could tie it all up.

Any game could be amazing if executed correctly. But I think that's a little hard to do for an on-rails shooter, so they should do away with that. You can have similar gameplay without having it on-rails.

If I was selfish and it was up to me I would make a sequel to StarFox Adventures.. :3
But I know big StarFox fans would hate that, so no. It's just so hard to find adventure games similar to that Zelda formula. Okami didn't interest me at all.

I think they should try on-foot again.

For some reason, I'm getting Star Fox vibes from the Metroid Blast minigame (rather than Metroid vibes).

That's funny you say that because it WAS originally a Star Fox game according to the last Iwata Asks IIRC but they changed it because having an Arwing hover above the ground like that didn't make much sense so they turned into Samus' ship XD

Oh, then that makes a ton of sense. :P

And yeah, since they were going for a hovering mechanic then I can see why Star Fox wouldn't work.
