If developers can choose their own price on the eShop, why is Sribb. still $60?

Because Ubisoft is trying very hard not to become the next THQ.

Also, it's a retail title too. Developers can't undercut retail prices for fear of screwing their business there.

Its called the 'Console Tax'

aka, they have console plebs trained like sheep into paying 60 dollars for games now. So why would they charge less?

the problem is not that it's $60. The problem is Nintendo charges taxes for your digital copy and it equals the exact same as the physical copies -.-;
