Used Wii U systems Piling up at gamestop

So basically just shows that people have to much money to blow, that they can trade in a system a month after it releases and get less than half of what they paid for it. I rarely trade my systems.

Really, TC? Wow your system must be so crappy that you'd rather spend your time finding out if your rival system is sold out in stores than playing your own crappy system (whatever it is. And if it's the PS3 or 360 shame on you for being so stupid for not finding one out of so many great titles to play).

i own a ps360, 3ds and vita. Id say the only crappy system is the wii u at this point.

And i already have all the great titles that the wii u has, only with better performance

Ok, so play those great games! If I had all those great games to play I'd be playing them instead of wasting my time dogging a system I don't even like! What kind of idiot does that? If I don't like something I'd just ignore it and I'd sure as hell wouldn't waste my time checking out if a system I don't care about of all things is in stock in any store much less four.

I bet the pile of used Wii U are from people who weren't patient enough to go through the system update and bricked them.

Gamestop checks to make sure the system works before they pay you for it so LOL no.

Like they checked the 3DS system that had porn on it?

Checking to make sure the system works is not the same as checking what's saved on the memory. If you ever trade in a system they will literally make you wait there while they power it up and test a game in it before they will continue the transaction. This includes making other customers wait if they don't have enough registers open.

How many used 360s and PS3s do those gamestops have hmmm?Im sure my local shops have plenty of them although i don't know how many because im not gonna call and ask them to take stock for me.In fact, how does TC know the exact amount?Did he indeed call those stores and ask how many, that doesn't sound like something someone would do just to post a troll thread.Perhaps those numbers are fictitious.(Cue the friend that works at Gamestop)

I just can't understand why anyone buys a used system (of any type) at Gamestop when it's usually only $20 or so cheaper than a new one.

I can't understand why anyone buys used games there since it's only $5 cheaper and will probably be scratched up. I only ever do if it's game I can't find a new copy of.

I've bought a bunch of used games there and never had one issue with any of them.

Recession

"I'm broke, due to this damn recession. I'm going to trade my Wii U in for credit at GameStop, surely I can feed my family with store credit at a Video Game store"

My local Gamestop sold out of Wiis during the holidays, this includes Wii, Wii Mini, Wii U Basic and Wii U Deluxe. This tiny samlple size proves the Wii / Wii U is the best selling system this year!
