And it will continue to do very low numbers until next holiday.

Then a price drop.

Then a Nintendo killer app.


Then it will sell well. I've been around enough cycles to know you can't tell if a system will succeed until the first year.

SEE: Saturn beating the Playstation (lol) in the first year.

These are the total worldwide sales for the week of the 22nd according to VGchartz

3DS- 1,100,037
360- 806,678
PS3- 769, 445
Wii U- 390,662
Wii- 330, 870
DS- 263,643
Vita- 202,271
PSP- 134,294

Not bad considering the other consoles are more established at this point and not everywhere across the country has as large a stock as other areas. Also it isn't that shocking that the Vita sold better in Europe. Europe is a huge territory for Sony. Of course they will do well there.
