Nope. It's 11. Believe me. I am an anonymous stranger on a forum. I know what is correct.

These numbers are doing the opposite of what the WiiU is doing in the US. How is that comparable?

according to VGchartz

Wii U US launch November 18, 2010

Week 1 - 421,850
Week 2 - 130,733 (-69%)
Week 3 - 145,229 (+11%)
Week 4 - 151,256 (+4%)
Week 5 - 159,407 (+8%)
Week 6 - 155,441 (+3%)

Not record breaking but not a flop either and like I said before I do expect them them to bottom out at 30K within the next 6 months and be stable there because that was the PS3's pattern.

The cheaper thing sell better that i just the way it works.

Xbox Starting November 19th

807,798 (+231%)
303,219 (-62%)
379,825 (+25%)
467,499 (+23%)
501,426 (+7%)
553,570 (+9.5%)

Never claimed it did. However, you claim that the poor sales of the PS3 at launch is due to limited stock. That's not the case, since it was widely available. Their shortages didn't cause the poor sales. The price, lack of games and general arrogance around the console caused the poor sales.

The Wii U, on the other hand, is doing just fine. Yes, it's still readily available in most places. However, it sold 1.8 million units world wide in its first month. The PS3 and 360's first-month numbers COMBINED don't equal that.

Then again, you're probably still seething that the Wii outsold those two consoles combined for quite some time.

Not seething about wii sales being so high. A console geared toward kids, plus the hype nintendo made for parents to buy them for kids was pretty genius.

But we are talking about big kid consoles.

Yes the wii u did sell 1.8 mil its first month, but in that same time frame, the ps3 sold 2.5 and the xbox sold 2.8 mil. Gee, i wonder why people would want those over the wii u.

oh wait.

PS3 and 360 were outsold by the PS2 and Xbox when they both launched, too.

Again, if you're going to try and bash the Wii U, you gotta come up with something that hasn't been commonplace since the birth of gaming.
