Nintendo pirates itself

Doesn't really surprise me. My friend got a refurbished Wii on Boxing Day a few years back, and hit the mother lode. Even though it had reset to factory defaults, when he signed into the Wii Shop Channel, he could download the VC titles of the previous owner...all $250+ worth of it.

Hahahahaha, Nintendo just can't understand the modern world.

all eShop activity gets deleted when you deactivate the NNID correctly. The guy at neogaf is either lying or he did it wrong. In the system settings there's an option to "delete all content and settings" and it clearly says that it doesn't get rid of eShop activity, it's just a basic system format. I'm guessing the previous owner or the guy at neogaf only used this option.

What exactly are you trying to explain? That Nintendo is stuck in the past but in a different way from what I'm saying? The end result is the same buddy. Nintendo is stuck in the past. They only recently discovered what online is. Partially.

If Nintendo only recently discovered online... in the 80s... its Sony and Microsoft that are behind the times with their consoles.

Sure. Because it's Sony and MS that don't offer online for their games that are meant to be played in multiplayer, it's Sony and MS that made the things you purchase online to be tied to the hardware and not your account, it's Sony and MS that still use a variant of Friend Codes... WAIT!

Sorry, do those links refute what I said? No? Then cry.

They continue to refuse to add online in a multiplayer game? They continue to tie purchases to the hardware? They continue to use Friend Codes? Then cry moar!

Hahahahahaha.
