Do adults still play Pokemon? Can you imagine a 27 year old sitting down on the couch playing Pokemon..... Good luck with keeping a girlfriend.

My wife and I battle all the time.

I'm 28, my WIFE made me buy her the old Nintendo 64 Pikachu pet simulator when I told her about it.

Every time a NEW Pokemon comes out. She gets mad if I don't get the other version and battle her.

So I think it would be more like

Good luck keeping a girlfriend if you don't play Pokemon.

I'm not that pumped to play the same game again in 3D. I'd rather see Pokemon Snap 2. It'd work well with the gamepad, I think.

This. I want the main games to stay sprites. And Pokemon Snap would work great with the gamepad.

That said, I really enjoyed Colosseum and XD, but they operate totally different to the main games.

PLEASE NO XD. I HATE XD..... It's ZERO fun. It's like teasing you with what could of been great but them making it suck on purpose.

My girlfriend makes fun of me for liking Nintendo =(. She finds their systems to be filled with children's games.

You know it's NOT hard to find a girlfriend that has the same hobbies as you. It makes for WAAAAAAY better marriages.

Me and my wife always feel awkward when we visit other couples cause they do nothing but fight 24/7 and act like it's "healthy and natural."

Me and my wife never fight, well with the exception over who get's to do something first ^_^.

Everything in the Pokemon universe that isn't the main series is absolute garbage, so an actual, well built, huge RPG for WiiU would be fantastic

This is so totally wrong. Mystery Dungeon is arguably better than the main series now, and Conquest is also pretty solid. Colosseum and XD are the only good things about Gen 3. Even Rumble is pretty decent.

The core Pokemon formula of collect, customize, and battle, is extremely addictive, and easily ports over to other types of games. The spinoffs are much more willing to experiment than the mainline series, which insists on making only the most minor of changes with each game and is starting to get stale and competitively broken.

Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.

What does she like? I'm sure you can find plenty to make fun of her about if she is making fun of you for liking "children's games".

I'm lucky enough to have a girlfriend that supports my Nintendo addiction, she bought me the Wii U on release day.

My wife doesn't play Pokemon. She is more if a Mario, castlevania and final fantasy player. But video games are video games, and we both like them.

Now on topic, I would love a console Pokemon that is the core rpg type. Not the crappy battlers or Pokemon snap stuff (my opinion)... The only Pokemon games I have enjoyed are the core rpg ones.
