Did the Wii win last gen in terms of best exclusives?

In terms of consoles, easily. It has literally 10 times the number of exclusives PS3 and 360 do. The OP only lists the tiniest handful of Wii exclusives, but there are hundreds more. Also, the OP lists several games that aren't actually exclusive, like Tales of Graces F, Tales of Vesperia, and Little King's Story.


The real question is whether it beats DS and PSP, which also both have a lot of exclusives.


A hundred turds isn't better then 10 diamonds. Though I do agree with TCs list being poor, he's missing a ton of good ps3 exclusives like Yakuza and twisted metal, he's missing infamous too that one is pretty high profile.

I'd say it's a tie between the PS3 and Wii. Sony really brought their A-game in terms of exclusives in the 7th generation, and Nintendo had some amazing installments in their franchises, even though they overlooked a couple of my personal favorites (F-Zero and Starfox, anyone?).

The 360, on the other hand, was a huge let-down in terms of exclusives. Many of their better exclusives were timed and went to the PS3 and/or PC after a while, and of the few that remained exclusive, only a handful were really good. The best thing the 360 had going for it was the fact that it got the best ports of PC games.

I say it's ridiculous to rank any of the consoles.

No they aren't, but if we were counting the bad games it'd be 50x more exclusives, not 10 times more. Wii can field 100 strong exclusives at the absolute minimum, which the other systems clearly can't since so many of their games are multiplatform.


Only someone who knows nothing about any of the current generation systems would vote no on this. You can believe that the PS3 library is better than the Wii one, but everyone knows that PS3 and 360 share a huge portion of their games.
