It's like Nintendo and the Wii had a baby, the Wii U, and everyone called the Wii U the Wii's brother.
Politically correctness speaking, yes, the Wii U is next gen.

Because some people are still convinced that a new Generation involves a leap in power, and isn't just a delineation of time.

no i tried resetting game i even start violent slamming cartridge on wall but all it does make static noise when i put into DS, the problem not fix! -ReconUnit

By the Wii U is not next generation logic.

The Wii and Gamecube were released in the same generation.

The Gamecube was released in 2001, one year after the PS2 and the same year as the original XBox.

The Wii was released in 2006, one year after the XBox 360 and the same year as the PS3.

It's current gen on the same field as the ps3 and 360. The problem is that it will once again be last gen in under a year.

People think that it's not next-gen because it is doing what the PS3 and 360 are able to do right now, which is precisely what makes it next gen. It's doing it now, at launch. Something the PS3/360 could not do at their launch.
