Looking at TC's achievements, he has played both on 360. I'm sure he's able to form an opinion on the basic games, so how about some Wii U-specific advice?

Don't buy them on wiiU? That specific enough lol, they play worse and cost more.

Excellent advice doggie.

Well, I will try my best to give a valid opinion since I own both games.

Assassin's Creed III -
Pros: Can be played via GamePad
GamePad makes an excellent map/menu option. It makes it a lot easier and accessible
It looks amazing on your TV, they did a good job of porting it

Cons: Slight Framerate issues (Although I never had this issue and I beat the game, I guess it depends)

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition
Pros: Can be played via GamePad
Use of GamePad is great, makes it easier
Again, looks really good on your TV.
Has all the previous released DLC and massive replay value

Cons: Same as Assassin's Creed III, it can have some framerate issues (Again, I have yet to experience this)

Overall, both are really great games for the Wii U. Assassin's Creed and Batman both have high replay value. Batman's story will keep you buys for hours and not to mention the challenges, you'll lose yourself in them. AC3 has online multiplayer and that can get pretty addicting when you start. Both are great games to own on a Wii U, make excellent use of the GamePad. I'd recommend both but if you are not that into online multiplaying, I suggest Batman. But both games are a great addition to any video game collection.

Hope this helps out a little bit. Also, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

The framerate issues are constants some people just don't notice framerate drops. Odds are you did experience it you just have slow eyes.

Cost more? Funny...I know at least AC3 should still go for about full price new on ANY system, most likely. Only system it'd be cheaper on would be PC. If you're going to troll, you could at least get your facts straight.

I notice framerate issues. And please don't say I have slow eyes because I take that as an insult. The only issues I had with framerate was with NSMBU. But I never experienced them on AC3. I haven't finished Batman yet so maybe I will sometime down the line.

I saw it for 40 in store before. Ps3 version, so even if it's still 60 main you can find it cheaper.

Framerate issues are noticeable in the first fight after you get your batsuit and pretty much every fight so I really don't think you do notice them.
