I hope Nintendo provides a 4K update

So many 4K HDTVs being shown off, hope Nintendo can update the Wii U to support them like when the 360 was updated to 1080p~

That doesn't sound like something they would ever do.

Sadly you are right, plus they are busy fixing the OS right now.

Samsung is already working on 8k Tvs. Why not skip 4k entirely?

I'd love for someone to prove me wrong with cold hard facts, but I don't think hardware works that way.

Well, we'll have to wait and see. I wonder if Sony and Microsoft plan to support this with their new consoles..

You don't think GPUs can be updated to output at higher resolutions...?

I didn't know it could work that way. Hmm. Back to the books...

Am I the only one who think 1080p already makes some movies look too real that you can tell they're staged? 4k and 8k or w/e will make it rediculous. I purposely bought a less sharp hdtv just to avoid the extreme realism.

Also, do you really think ps4 or xbox 720 will support 4k? The system would have to cost like $800+++

Does anyone know if this is a joke post?
