Anyone have th hdmi hand shake issue yet?

As some of you may or may not know, the HDMI hand shake issue is something both the PS3 and 360 had (including other devices using HDMI cords), and really, there isn't much you can do to stop it, but what about the Wii U? With the PS3 it's pretty common since just about every app you load changes the resolution (for example the XMB may be running at 1080p, but anything you open might go down to 720p), but as far as I know the Wii U keeps running at the same setting? At least that's what I thought.

Just a little bit ago when I was exiting back to the home screen, I actually saw my screen flash black for half a second as its resolution changed. So if the Wii U does in fact change resolution based on what you are doing on it, doesn't that also mean some people might start seeing the HDMI hand shake?

Thank you. I've heard of it before, but not as a handshake (the guy telling me about it didn't give it a name, but he was probably just simplifing it for me).

I always shake after I Wii. U?

Strangely enough my Wii U just started doing the "handshake" when exiting out of Netflix back to the Wii U menu (it goes black for about 1 second when loading the Wii u menu). It never did it before. I'm using a different TV now, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

But generally, yes, it always does it with the Wii<-->Wii U modes.
