Would you return your wiiu?

If it bothers you, but you want a WiiU, contact Nintendo customer support and see if they'll do a repair/replace under warranty. It would be pretty tough for them to argue that screen problems aren't covered, unless they have some way to prove that the manufacturing isn't responsible for it.

I contacted Nintendo UK about a single dead pixel and they said I could exchange just the gamepad through them although I decided to leave it until after Christmas so I had it over the holidays.

Turns out mine is not a dead pixel either because it projects a slight shadow on the screen - it's something under the screen that looks like a grey/black pixel.

Anyway I may return or as agreed later this month although it's in the bottom left corner of the screen and I never notice it unless I specifically look for it so I may decide to not bother.
