the F zero games seriously have the greatest soundtracks

They have really good soundtracks, most Nintendo games do. They usually produce top notch quality.

Try some rolling themes in your run, especially when you start to jog slightly. If you're doing HIIT you might want to incorporate hard/soft/hard songs into your run(alternating). Although incorporating them might mean cutting them down to however long your intervals are for changing it up, but I've always wanted to do this myself(7 sets of sprints/jogging, for about 14-15 minutes total).

Personally for long distance I mix up my music, not just hard all the time.

i'm just starting cardio for the first time in years, i use metalica when i go the gym, i need aggressive music like that to motivate me, f zero, because of the riffs reminds me of them lol.
