Have you expanded your memory?

Have you expanded your memory? If so what did you use and how much space did you add?

I went with a 128 gig SDXC card plugged in via USB reader in the back of my system.

It was one of the first things that I did after getting my basic model back in November. I purchased one of these at a lower price than what is shown here.

Then I threw it into one of these to match the shade of the console.

That's actually pretty awesome. I don't think I've ever seen a device like that. I have a few spare laptop drives that could use one of those.

No and I doubt I'm going to need to. I still haven't filled up the Wii's internal memory (though I have come very close). With 16 times that much I don't see myself filling it ever.

Understandable, I'm wondering if and when DQX gets localized if it will run entirely off of the system memory or if it'll use the disc. I'm also curious if Nintendo will implement game installs in the future for those who upgraded their memory.

Hard drive space, not memory. They're two completely different things.

I picked up a 1TB drive for backing up my computer, figured I'd use that with the Wii U. That was before I learned that it required externally powered hard drives and it wouldn't allow partitioning, so this drive isn't very practical for the Wii.

The system uses flash memory, not a hard drive.
