So if Xbox 3 and PS4 sells less than Wii U, will they be considered failing?

I've asked this too, and got no answer

If 600,000 at launch and 450,000 the second moth is bad what exactly is good?

The months following a launch the sold units numbers usually drop so how much of a drop is "bombing"?

Nearly 3 million in 1.5 months = flop?

I hope the trolls remember that for when the next consoles launch.

People are claiming that Wii U is failing based on early sales. Same with 3DS and Vita. So if Xbox 3, and PS4 come out AND early sales are less than Wii U, will people say that they are failing as well?

How many units need to be sold so that people won't call these systems "failures?"

If they release with no must have game for months, underwhelming sales, worse graphics than the previous gen, a horribly slow OS, a major issue with freezing, and a lack of basic features I think we can consider their launches failures.

Whos gonna nitpick first?

That may just happen.

it won't matter what the other consoles do. There is no reasoning with trolls.

There's still people pretending that the ps3 and 360 had great launch titles.

2.2 million is not "nearly 3 million". It's "over 2 million".

If Xbox720 and PS4 both only sell 100k by christmas of their launch year, they will both be considered a runaway success. Meanwhile Nintendo could sell 3-5 million and be considered a failure to some.

Ms and sony make a majority of their revenue from the tax they collect when third parties make a game on their platform. Good luck to nintendo on that.
