Do Nintendo fans even exist anymore?

Seriously, it just seems like everyone wants Nintendo to die. -__-

I'm a staunch Nintendo fan, since being the most excited 5 year old ever when I opened my NES under the tree from Santa Claus. But lately it seems Nintendo has been disappointing people more than they were when they first discovered there wasn't even a Santa in the first place.

What's up with that?

They're around. There just aren't a lot of them on this board.

I'm more of a Zelda fan if anything.

You'll find them on Miiverse, for sure. It just seems like people here either don't care about how Nintendo is doing, or people who troll the boards with the "truth." I'm a fan of Nintendo, but you wouldn't hear that from me in real life.

The N64 and Gamecube showed who the true Nintendo fans were.

Wii brought a ton of fans, but not many are actual Nintendo fans.

No, I mean like.... Sony and Microsoft get so much respect and the games on their consoles always get promoted with game of the year awards and stuff. While Nintendo continues to get ignored or people just bash Nintendo with any chance they get. Like seriously, I swear I've heard thousands of people say that Nintendo's glory days ended after the N64.
Video games are awesome.

Yes. I mean, look at what the anti-Wii U people are saying:
-Casuals will ignore the system in favor of smartphones, tablets, Facebook
-Hardcores will ignore the system in favor of PS4, Nextbox, Steambox, PC

So going by their logic, what does that leave? Nintendo fanboys such as myself. And with just those, the Wii U sold over 2 million in a short amount of time.
