No matter how much it screws over the consumers, of course. That's the problem.

More villains need to be protagonists. BiS proves it can work.
Ridley, Ganondorf, Fawful, Bowser, and Dimentio all for their own games!

What may seem bad to all of the Wii U haters makes no difference to Nintendo. They made an excellent business move with Wii U. It has satisfied the demands people have been making. Even the people who are determined to be unhappy with Wii U still bought it and returned it. That means Nintendo got your money. That's all they need. The console isn't bad at all. People just need to be willing to accept the fact that it isn't an Xbox or a playstation.

They aren't screwing over consumers. People just feel unsatisfied for whatever reason that is. Nintendo doesn't care about you. They cater to the people who are satisfied. Why should they spend money on people who feel the need to reject the Wii U.

They fixed friend codes. Shouldn't you be satisfied and anybody that isn't play 360/PS3?
Now mind explaining region-lock and console-bound?
Talk about an apologist.

Those are to prevent illegal things such as piracy. It's a popular business in some Middle Eastern countries to convert and sell cheap copies of games. Region lock is the same thing. It prevents you from buying games cheaper from other countries. Regoin lock does have the nasty side effect of preventing region exclusive games from being playable for other people.
