In terms of pure hype, the Wii. Why? Motion controls at a low pricepoint.

Wii, and it was easily a bigger disappointment. The Wii promised a new experience, but ended up being a medium for parlor games and junk. At least the Wii U delivers comparable hardware and promises to carry a number of AAA titles. The overreaction on this forum is laughable.
