When do you consider a console to be a failure?

It'll be a failure when it doesn't require trolls to help make it look bad.

When a console is completely unsupported, even by the company it was made by, it's a failure. Nintendo was largely supported almost entirely by themselves throughout the GCN era and even that console wasn't a failure.

A console has failed when a developer completely discontinues it, with no successor

You know what types of people care about 1080p? Fat guys with acne and no girlfriends.

When no one makes topics or argues about it. Clearly if a console was a failure no one would be talking about except to agree that it sucked.

If it fails to sell less than the Gamecube, Nintendo's worst performing console to date, no Virtual Boy doesn't count, as it was marketed as a handheld.
You are hallucinating. Seek help immediately.
