People shouldn't criticize now, because Nintendo might turn things around later?
Whatever, that still doesn't change the fact that the Wii U had a bad launch. Don't get your panties in a bunch just because people aren't showering your corporate masters with praise.
Just curious, what systems do you think had a good launch, and how does it compare to the wiiu's launch (what did it do better and worse)?
Wii U's launch consists of a minigame collection, yet another NSMB game, and a bunch of ports of 360/PS3 games that look and run worse on the Wii U. Its most promising games, Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, got delayed past the launch window. It had a massive day 1 patch that made the console unusable for the first 2 hours after you hooked it up (way to cause a Christmas morning buzzkill there).
Dreamcast, SNES, Gamecube, even Xbox 360 had pretty good launches. They all had some fresh, original, exclusive games available at launch/launch window.

they have the PC version of Darksiders 2 running on WiiU in 1080 native at 60 fps and full graphics options on. Neither 360 or PS3 can come close
