Do you know the difference between series of Radeons? The diffrence wont even be noticeable to the vast majority of people.

Actually, teardowns point to a 5870. Now, the 6670 that'll be in the PS4/720 is a low-end card...

Why have all that GPU power if it can't render hundreds of zombies at once?

And DF has "unnamed sources," just like the ones who claimed that the Wii U GamePad didn't work under any circumstances, and that the E3 2011 show was a bunch of guys behind curtains pulling strings to make it look like it was working right.

Teardowns may point to a somewhat cut-down 5770, sure. But to assume that the ONLY customizations made by Nintendo were to cut it down would be folly, based on Nintendo's past history.

The 5770 is not the problem.

It's bottlenecked by the CPU.

So, even if the image quality is indistinguishable across all 3 consoles, other specs come into play.

Where do you get that idea?

Cell was a fruitless adventure that didn't pay off.

Going back to x86 is the right move.
