Odds on getting a new 3D Mario game by the end of the year?

Anyone read any snippets in interviews that give a clue or are they giving us no info still?

I'm hoping slim, that'll give us a better chance of something not rushed (Unless they had been working on it for years)

Well 3d land came out over a year ago but I would imagine that did not require the full Galaxy Team to make it. The last Galaxy game will be 3 and half years ago at the end of this year which is time enough for them to have us a brand new 3d Mario game.

The 2d Mario games sell better then the 3d ones. I don't know why people have a hard on for 3d Mario games so much when the 2d ones are the ones that play more like the classic Mario games.

Because as we all know: older and less different is always better.

Because my topic was all about which Nintendo games sell more. I am so tired of the New Super Mario Bros series, Galaxy felt so fresh when I first played it even with the limited tech ability of the Wii. Now they have hardware to make a 3d Mario game on par with current gen I can't help but want one.

Also Mario 64 on the N64 is a classic Mario game.

So Mario World is not a classic either then? Ok, say what you want it does not change anything.
