You do realize House of the Dead: Overkill is a Wii exclusive (until Sony and Microsoft snatch it later on). So what makes you think Wii U will get a kindergarten version, for all we know it might be a new IP.

No serious game company is creating a new IP for Wii U. Thats just absurd.

At first I was all like "Who are Headstrong?" and then I saw 'House of the Dead: Overkill' and then I was all like "Oh, I don't care about this story anymore because based on their previous track record this new game is unlikely to be particularly good".

Actually that would be hilarious being attacked by Zombie Blue hoards that explode into fountains of blood as Steve cox his shotgun to lay a round in Zombie Periwinkle. Wait who am I kidding they'd never give the Blue's Clues licensee over of that sort of game.
