Though I've owned the Wii U for 3 days. And played less than 5 hours, I am happy with the system. Anyone who appreciates new technology will appreciate the Wii U gamepad. It's a very unique way to play games which was never implemented before in any other system. And for someone who didn't own a Wii, I am looking forward to play the older games like Xenoblade and Fire Emblem.
