PS4 and Xbox 720 are going to be more powerful than the Wii U?

Is it true what the rumours are saying? How can Nintendo let this happen?!

You expect Nintendo to send in their Yakuza to make sure that Sony and Microsoft will release worse hardware months after the Wii U?

The 360 was released a year before the PS3 and Wii and it happened to be marginally inferior to the PS3 overall and much superior than the Wii. Releasing a system before the others don't mean anything.

ps3 and xbox were more powerful than the wii. Nintendo live in their own little world and don't care about powerhouses, if you do then I suggest playing the PC

Nintendo isnt that concerned with power, but more with different control schemes. The U is somewhere around the same power as the PS3, so its literally impossible for the PS4 to not be more powerful. Im pretty damn sure Sony isnt going to put out a PS4 that is basically the same power as the PS3. That would make no sense at all.

The PS4 will be much closer to what modern gaming PCs are doing, and the U is not really very close to that at all.

There is no way for Nintendo to possibly stop it from happening.

It's possible though in the long run it doesn't matter as all the consoles wil be outdated by PCs in half a year or so.

Who cares, it's the game quality that counts.

You can expect a similarly powered Wii 3 to be "leaked" in the fall of 2016.

Because raw power is meaningless. Look at the DS and PS2; they are far weaker than any HD console (or even the Wii), yet their games were on the whole far better than anything on Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii U right now.

It won't matter strong this Durango allegedly is; the 3DS will have much better games.
