After taxes the total price becomes more than $350 anyway. I bought mine for $350, no tax, no S&H fee.

No, another retailer in the UK put the price down..

An Online retailer.

So let's remove some of those sales figures for the Wii U then, since some of those were done online since apparently Online retailers doesn't matter

any type of sale or price cut is a cause for concern. No store will lower the price on an item that is selling at a steady pace, unless it is from the manufacturer.

A $20 sale is massive?

Damn, I guess every game I've ever bought on Steam is a massive flop then.

CVS where I work has milk on sale for $2.69 a gallon, down from $3.19. I'm fairly certain this means that the dairy industry is about to go under.

For those of you that care to know, or those that dont follow earnings reports and the stock market, this is more about Target than it is about the Wii U Nintendo product.

Targets sales for 2012 were under expectations. All fourth quarter they even announced that they would be matching any online competitor prices on any item. Theyve now expanded this to the ENTIRE year of 2013.

Simply put, investors arent happy, Target suits arent happy. Target every other week has a markdown on hundreds of products just like the Wii U. Because sales, just as much as profits, drive that stock price and investor $ coming in. If Target can bring people who are going to buy a WII U through their doors, instead of competitors, that will only help their sales outlook for 2013.

New Hardware doesn't get cut unless there's an issue somewhere, especially this quickly. Very likely Target is overstocked and Nintendo is again screwing them on the buyback. This is part of the reason Amazon and some others don't carry Nintendo hardware any more.
