If people think there were sales this soon after the launch of other consoles: show it. Otherwise stop lying.

How are we going to show it? Do you know how long 2002 or 2007 were? No one is walking around with their cameras taking pictures of sales, except TC. But then again, if he managed to find a single Target store that has a temporary sale, and it isn't even advertised anywhere else, tell me why that couldn't have happened to any other console?

^This. Even the PS3 with its 599 US dollar price tag didn't have a sale so soon after launch.

How about bundles to move consoles and games?

HAHAHA, oh, you know that's bullcrap. Who the hell would want to keep a console $600 when apparently there's people who want to make sales for $350? You trolls are getting really desperate.

Why are people wasting time trying to argue with me over semantics?

Either talk about what you propose this temporary reduction in cost at a major retailer so early into the lifecycle means, or don't, I don't care.

But I can't exactly respond to people tha have nothing to add except opposing views on semantics. I didn't say Nintendo dropped the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price.

I would speculate that this is not a good sign, over any one else's speculation that it is.
If I were Nintendo I wouldn't like that major national retailers are putting their system on sale so early.

It's bad press. Many people can misinterpret even a $20 sale to mean the financial stability of Nintendo as a whole has been shifted.

I speculate that Nintendos dropping stock today is in relation to this sale news going viral. Investors are a keen bunch and follow trends closely. Look for Nintendo to make some major announcements in the following months to boost investor morale.

Bundles aren't the same thing as slashing a consoles price by $20 and you know it.

Sure, but then if that's the case.. the Wii U was on sale day one, since it had bundles which saved you money.

What semantics? Its your "speculation" against FACT. Its a one-week sale, in a single Target store. It will go back to $350 on the 25th, so it is not in ANYWAY a price drop. Your "speculation" ignores the FACTS, and that's NOT what speculation is about.
