Yeah I actually was impressed that Iwata had the balls to say "I'm sorry for all the troubles" and then have something to make up for it.
People who throw false information in this board (and the PS3 board too) should learn a thing or two rather than just saying "No, I'm right. get over it." --- Palutena: "I really can't imagine you being in a "melee". Pit: "That's because I wasn't -_-" 3DS Friend Code: 0430-9368-3384
Nintendo possesses humility and can admit to their past mistakes pretty often. I appreciate that about them. However, I do think they are pretty stubborn when it comes to certain things. Like stories in video games (minor stories even).
That's just Miyamoto being out of touch by removing story from Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Sticker Star along with other games. --- Prior GFAQs name: AngelTails http://i41.tinypic.com/25qvqfd.png - Thanks to Mew_ on Serebii Forums
If your last two consoles sold 30 million and 15 million, respectively, compared to the PS1 and PS2 sales numbers, would you have any grounds to go on about how great you are?
The Wii was the first console they had in over a decade that outsold all the competition. It was also the first one to be abandoned and killed, while the PS360 could feesibly overtake it. --- Pokemon White FC: 0346 8604 2225 PSN: phayro_rip People Only Like Obama, that's the motto Romney, P.O.L.O.
So we're comparing Nintendo's Japanese division with Sonys American? How is Reggie doing these days?
If you're going to use Iwata as a comparison, you should compare him to Yoshida CEO of Sony's gaming division and Hirai CEO of Sony.
Kaz is cool but Ken on man KEN!
Yeah, the PS1 was going to be a 2D console, but then Ken played Virtua fighter on the saturn I think it was, and it blew him away and he decided to make the PS1 3D. If it weren't for him, Sony would never have gone into video games as the rest of Sony saw gaming as a fad.
