Ugh. I just played it. It's a blurry, blurry mess on my HDTV. Could it have killed them to give us nice, clear pixels? Everything is fuzzed out. I suppose it's more like playing it on an old SDTV, but man is it hard on the eyes. I like my pixels in HD!

Please tell me there's some setting I've overlooked.

No, you're correct. Some sort of bi-linear interpolation filter is being applied, and it looks really bad. The Wii VC versions actually looks much nicer than the Wii U VC version.

Pixels in HD look freaking hideous.

But there's nothing you can do. These okd BC games don't really get changed in any way aside frim being able to play them in the gamepad and such. Enjoy your NES game.

Edit: Try using component cables.

Then they're pretty much guaranteed that I won't be buying any more VC games on the Wii U. Man I'm really bummed.

I don't own component cables for the Wii U, not to mention the pain of changing plugs every time I switch back & forth between Wii U and VC games.

They need to FIX their awful emulator.

Every free emulator in the world is better than this awful one you have to pay for.

Well at least it doesn't look as bad on the gamepad. No saving NES games for their graphics in this day and age.

Time for me to bail out of this topic.
