The 30 cent VC games are a sale not a trial

#1ObtuseAnginaPosted 1/23/2013 5:15:02 PM
The promotion where Nintendo is releasing a VC game every 30 days for 30 cents is a sale not a paid trial meaning if you buy the game when it's 30 cents its yours to keep

Proof
* After specified promotional period, each game will be made available in the Nintendo eShop at regular price. Wii U owners who have purchased the game(s) during the promotional period will not need to purchase the game(s) again at the regular price. Games purchased during this promotional period are eligible for 2 points in the Deluxe Digital Program. Point value subject to change.

So... Thirty cent Super Metroid? Somebody please come to my house when that one goes on sale and personally smack me to make sure I don't forget.

Not after Iwata said "So please come and try these games, so you can see if you would like to buy them." I still don't know what he was trying to say there if not "It's just a trial purchase."

I know it's old but people are still making topics and posts with misinformation saying they're only 30 day trials of the games

If common sense doesn't prevail than those "people" are never going to understand. So why bother?

Also...it's 30 cents. Why would you complain about spending 30 cents to play a game for a month. Not to mention that alone sounds stupid. Like I said if people don't understand now no amount if topics is going to change that.

I don't think he was specifically refering to these games but more that he wants people to try NES and SNES games in general to see if they want more.

Well go whine at Iwata for letting them name it a trial, and calling it a trial himself. Don't ***** at GFAQs for saying what he said.

Yes 30 cents is a lot. Not to me mention its NOT a demo. So turning your topic into a hypothetical situation doesn't make sense.
