One screenshot in a rocky area...all color is lost forever.

Well, this is what the new age of gamers want. Browns and grays. They are color blind or something.

It's funny. Play any MMO and everyone wears black and neon colors. They can't even be consistent.

You know, that was one thing that pissed me off when I played Guild Wars 2. Every ******* person was obsessed with either a white dye or a black dye, the majority after a black dye.

That's what looks good. I use a black and a dark purple on one, and a white and dark red on another.

You guys were right; HD makes everything look brown and realistic. Ah well, I'll still love and remember the colourful and vibrant Wii version.

It's an artistic choice. Nothing to do with HD. Look at these for example:

Nope, it's HD. We warned you guys, this is why the Wii was awesome, it forced developers to think more artistically about the look of the game. Now that it's more powerful and HD, they're doing what every developer does and just makes it more realistic and less colourful.

Your stupidity is amazing.

I threw up color on the screenshot (it's a bit sloppy). If you look at both back and forth, it makes the original look grayer than ever. Hopefully they can change that later on.

The edit looks awful. Makes it look like a pop-out book.

It was done well though, I'm not trying to put down your work.

Pretty sure Far Cry 3 is still quite colorful in HD.

The trailer only showed us one area basically.

If Xenoblade only had Colony 9 it would be pretty much the same.

This is why we need more cel-shaded 3D and sprite games.

I would love for it to look like the after image. Just the color makes the image look a thousand times better imo. Good job, Cookie

It is actually, that's the art style, it doesn't matter where the picture is taken, that's the colour palette. Look at the water, if that was Wii Xenbolade, it would be a crystal clear vibrant blue. Here it's all bland and realistic.

Yet none of those things has to do with resolution lol They are stylistic choices completely separate from how many pixels are present on screen. I can run xenoblade in dolphin at 1080p and it magically still looks the same just clearer and even MORE vibrant. Funny that.

The fact that it's is in HD has nothing to do with what you are complaining about.

It looks wonderful. Plus its like one location you saw in the game doesn't mean there won't be color...
