Some of those shots had a lot of color. It's just a more dull tone as opposed to overly bright. Looks freakin' great to me. I think they've achieved a great balance of dynamic color while maintaining a more realistic approach. It'll be hard to top some of those locales from Xenoblade, but as someone else said, we haven't seen everything yet. --- PSN ID: Shawnji Trophy List: http://psnprofiles.com/Shawnji
1. Nintendo fans didn't complain the Wii wasn't HD. Or better said most didn't. There wasn't even much of a vocal minority for Wii HD.
2. Nintendo fans aren't one single person. Half could want HD and the other half could not. What you're saying is like watching Fox News and commenting, "wow, first America likes Obama, now America doesn't? You make no sense, America." It's different portions of people with different opinions. --- "A closet intellectual, he acts dumb to impress women." | 3DS: Ulysses | PSN: Riot_Guy |
While the few areas we've been shown do look great, I'm gonna have to agree with the fact that the creativity put in XBC isn't there. It's beautiful, it's realistic but it's forgettable. The areas in Xenoblade most definitely weren't. They didn't have HD graphics so they had to use other ways to amaze us and they did. I might say that graphics aren't important but the art direction really is.
Of course it's an early trailer and they probably didn't show us the best parts so no reason to be disappointed yet. Let's just enjoy what we've been given and wait for more. --- Currently playing: Kid Icarus Uprising, Pandora's Tower, Monster Hunter Tri That new Monolith Soft game is going to be X-citing !
