How good is the emulation in Balloon Fight?

I'm sure it will quite easily be in 1080p, but do you get a selection of filters to choose? (Prefer the 'Nearest Neighbour' style that leaves pixels sharp).

I didn't see any options for filters unless I missed them somewhere

No filter options. They apply a sort of blur filter to the entire screen so it doesn't look super blocky. But, looks and works fine (IMO). At least they added custom control mapping!

On the GP alone the quality looks VERY bad.

Wonder if this Campaign Trial is also meant for Nintendo to make adjustments before they have the Wii U VC go live, because the filtering used is quite bad and having different filtering options would be nice.

Agreed, it looks just like the original.

No the quality is really off, it looks dull and blurry on GP. The 3DS version is much more vibrant and clear.

I didn't even think to do this comparison myself... and you're indeed correct. I know some of the difference has to do with the size of the 3DS screen compared to the gamepad but clearly the coloring is much more dynamic and bright on the 3DS.

It looks fine to me on the gamepad, IDK.
