I'm not interested in this remake at all. I've always been very "meh" toward WW, so a remake does absolutely nothing for me. If they had remade Link to the Past or Link's Awakening, I would have had reason to get excited.

I don't need a remake of it despite my love for the game:

I am very much hyped up for this game. I skipped the gamecube entirely and always wanted to play ww.

Plus it sounds like they are reworking and adding more stuff for people that already played it.

Like people before me have already mentioned, It is really only great for people who have never played this game when it originally released on GameCube. Nintendo is quickly going towards the ways of Sony as they are re-releasing games in HD or "remakes" ....though this is nothing new. Look at how many times Ocarina of Time has been released. Though understandable for those that never played it, it does get a bit ridiculous. Someone mentioned A Link to the Past remake...that would be awesome, but I dont see how that would work. Emulators have filters for a reason. Use the right one in the right game and you will be blown away.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to it. Good decision by Nintendo. I just hope that they don't skimp on the graphics since it has the potential to be very beautiful.

Sokar, Eliot... lay off Tony. I can vouch for him. He's a top lad and a massive PS3 supporter. He's not an enemy here. - SomnusNemoris on the Sony Defense Force

It just looks weird. Not bad weird. Just weird. I just don't understand it because WW's art style is timeless. It didn't NEED an HD update. Give that to something like Majora's Mask.

Looks better just based on graphics.

Graphically I think it looks impressive, although it's weird seeing the game in such a different visual style than the original cel-shaded look.

That being said, Wind Waker is my least favorite 3D Zelda on a console, primarily due to the sailing. Even with a graphical update, I have no interest in returning to Wind Waker.

I wasn't bowled over by the original Wind Waker. They'd have to completely remake the thing for me to look forward to it.
