The poll today proves one thing.

It proves one thing and one thing only, that whoever made the poll is biased. They focused on the least exciting announcements of the conference. New Mario, we all knew that was coming. New Zelda, we already knew that was coming. New Yoshi was unexpected, but Yoshi isn't exactly an OMG MUST HAVE type of thing like other stuff.

Meanwhile, people who were turned off by the Wii and didn't watch Nintendo Direct have no reason to do so after reading that poll. They'll just see "New Mario, Zelda, Yoshi" and then pick the last option without doing any research.

I agree, I mean totally after Skyward Sword, I thought to myself "omg there will NEVER be another Zelda game" and after SMG2 I thought "omg there will NEVER be another 3D Mario game"

Yoshi was expected because Miiverse hack.

Most people who actually watched the Nintendo Direct came away with a lot more then just that.

Yup, the first thought in my mind was "Holy Magikarp, the main SMT games get an epic HD game before Persona" and "OPEN WORLD MECHA RPG".

Only 26.58% responded negatively. Three are positive, one is open-minded. And quite honestly, the poll is biased because it lacks decent in-between answers.

"With Nintendo's announcements of new Mario, Zelda, and Yoshi games, do you plan to buy a Wii U this year?

I'd like to, but I'll have to see if I can afford to buy one.
No, but I'll be buying one because of some of the other games shown yesterday.
No, there aren't any games on the Wii U that appeal to me yet. "

Those three option should've been added to the poll.

I tell it how I see it. Controversial and I don't care.

All that's needed to see that the polls mean nothing.

Any negative opinions toward Nintendo are not valid.

A poll of gamers on a video game site puts Nintendo in a somewhat negative light. Nintedo's fault? Nope. The poll must be biased.

Let's say out of 20 friends, only 2 like Metallica....the rest either think it's cool to hate them, want to fit in, or generally hate Metallica ( I hate 'em). It's the same thing with Nintendo...you can see it everywhere gaming related, and what amplifies it is the fact that Fans try so hard to disprove it, that they are just as bad as the people who are biased.

The Wii was the ONLY Nintendo console in my life to be my 2nd console. The WiiU rights that wrong, Sony goes back to being my 2nd console, MS stays in the dirt where they belong, and the world is right and I'm enjoying gaming again ( Last gen was so boring)

People feel the need to compensate for their lack of masculinity by only playing games like Gears of Assassin's Duty 89.
