I've been reading through a lot of topics but didn't find my answer. Is this $1 for each game or $1 to transfer all your games. If it's a dollar for each I can see why people would be angry, though I personally wouldn't mind.

I don't mind either. Though if I remember correctly, they didn't say anything about N64 games. I think people should be more concerned about that instead.

You're not transferring. You're buying a new game on the Wii U Virtual Console.

If you had the VC game on the Wii, and transferred, you have to pay $1 to have GamePad support and Miiverse. If you just wanna transfer VC games to the Wii U, you don't have to pay.

It's per game.

Right, you can transfer the games for free, and play them non-upgraded. It's to upgrade them with new features that costs a dollar each.

The cost of transferring your games from Wii to Wii U is $0. They will be in the Wii Mode of the Wii U.

The eShop will recognize the games you have downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel, and you can repurchase them for a discount PER game which will add support for different controllers, restore points, controller customization, Miiverse support, and the ability to play them solely on the Game Pad. These will appear in the Wii U menu.

So basically you are owning 2 copies of the same game. It's totally optional, as you can still just play them under Wii Mode

Not a transfer fee. Transfer fee is free.
It's an upgrade fee for additional features

It's a fee that shouldn't exist.
