I find it funny. Those whining about the VC Upgrade fee will upgrade anyways.

You know you will. So why are you complaining when you will utilize this service?

I'll probably only upgrade a few of my VC games. I honestly can't afford to upgrade all of them.

I cant wait to find out n64 games (a majority of my VC purchases) will cost $2 to allow them to play on the WiiU VC. I'll wait for another way.

The only ones I'd really want to upgrade would be Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy VI, but do I have to HAVE them on my Wii U first through a system transfer? Because if so I'll just rebuy them.

No, all VC can be transferred to Wii U and played for free. Just in Wii Mode. Wii U mode (Miiverse, Save State, etc.) are what they're charging for.

No I know, sorry if I wasn't clear. In order to upgrade the games (for $1.50), do I have to transfer them to my Wii U first from my Wii (for free)?

I don't think I can leave them on my wii and buy the upgraded one for only $1.50 seeing as how technically I would then own 2 copies of the games.

Of course, there would be no way of knowing if you actually owned them in that case.

This article sums it up for me. It essentially says we're not entitled to the updated features and that the company does need to make money on the extra development time they put in the game. People need to stop their b*******.

Well there is, but Nintendo doesn't utilize it (club nintendo).

Anyways, I don't mind paying full price for them again. Good games are good.

I just wonder why they haven't said anything about N64 games. I'll just wait until I can transfer all over before doing this.
