That would be awful. I love Melee but wee need another Smash
Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.

Oh god please no, HD remakes of fighters simply don't work...the only fun thing about new fighters is updating rosters and the fighting, not what it looks like...

I like Melee and all, but this would be lazy and counterproductive.
