New Mario, New Zelda, New Smash Bros? Of course we were expecting those. But where was the footage?

With the latest rumors of the specs of the two next-gen consoles of Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo sounded like the little dwarf in a club jumping and shouting "Me too!" while nobody hears him.

They didn't even announce those games either... they just announced that they would be announcing them halfway through the year.

There's nothing desperate about it. They're just telling people what they want to hear. There's nothing desperate about informing fans about the progress of your projects, even if you're not ready to show anything yet. That's still leagues better than the silent treatment we get for many games.
