Why do people call the WiiU a failure?

Its selling faster than the 360 and PS3 when they first came out.

PS3: 1.7 Million. http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/data/bizdataps3_sale_e.html

360: 1.5 Million. http://www.microsoft.com/investor/default.aspx#14

WiiU: 2 million. http://www.vgchartz.com/analysis/platform_totals/

The WiiU is no more a failure than the 360 or PS3.

PS3 cost almost twice what the U does, and the 360 was from a pretty new player in the gaming world. People werent quite sold on MS yet at that time.

Don't let their lies and manipulations get to you. They're desperate to find any means to paint Nintendo as a failure because they're butthurt that Nintendo doesn't adhere to the status quo.

Just ignore them.

They only look at the "now", not the "past", except in past cases where their competitors do worse, then the past is tallied in.

I guess they felt burned by the WiiU despite the fact that Nintendo has gone for console power for most of its history. If anything they should be mad at Sony who proved(ps2) that as long as you have a great library of games, console power takes a back seat. If anything its like Sony and Nintendo have traded places.

This and the PS3 also had shortages. Besides, I don't remember the PS3 or the 360 failing so hard in Europe.

because Nintendo.

DS was a "failure" until it wasn't
Wii was a "failure" until it wasn't
3DS was a "failure" until it wasn't

Hell even the SNES was a failure because Sega got the jump to 16bit first
