Wii U's virtual console games won't work with older save files.

Did you know John Lasseter recorded all the dialogue for Crush while lying on a couch?

Edit: Whoops, meant Andrew Stanton. Just remembered that the director did the voice and thought Lasseter was the director.

WELLLLL.....if you ask me since your paying for something that should be free anyway (imo), the least they could've did is find a a way to make the saves compatible.

Where is the customer service? There used to be a time where the seal of approval meant something.

If you transfer a game from the Wii to the Wii U's Wii mode, the save will transfer, too. As such, you won't "lose it" at all. You just won't be able to access that save without entering Wii Mode, thereby losing MiiVerse functionality and GamePad use.

Why is the difference between Wii Mode VC and Wii U VC so hard for so many people to grasp?

Because Wii Mode is ****** stupid as all hell.

The Wii mode is basically a way for Nintendo to make it more difficult for hackers to hack the console. It was the same with the DS mode for 3DS.

If you feel scammed by a company but don't want to stop playing their games: Buy them used, it's the smart gamer's boycott method

Doubt that. Since the Wii mode is completely sandboxed away, there's no way they'll make the files compatible with each other.
