Bad news if they picked up any of the talentless hacks from Junction Point.

Really hope they didn't get Crazy Warren.

Well, I still like Warren Spector and would like to see what he could do if Nintendo gave him a little dev studio.

Anyway...

Crytek who picked up 35-36 former Vigil Studio employees has just stated it has no plans to purchase Darksider IP.

I think the reason Warren Spector has had troubles making good games is not because of his lack of skill, but because of the fact that he probably doesnt get enough money for his Disney projects, and also he's probably not too enthused about going from being the Creator of System Shock and Deus Ex, to the Director of a Disney game.

They made a moon base to survey my standards but they have yet to make visual contact.

He absolutely loves Mickey Mouse. This was pretty much a dream project for him, and the team for it was fairly large IIRC.

It's not like they quit their jobs and joined Retro. It's more like Retro picked up the scraps of fired or unwanted employees

Next game will be a technical nightmare.

Stuck making first-person shooters for the rest of your days is depressing.

Actually on that last bit, it was always his dream to make a Mickey Mouse game. So he was entirely enthusiastic about directing the development of those games. Kinda wish the games ended up better though.

Is Darksiders still for sale?

I think so. Honestly, it would be cool if Nintendo bought it.

I disagree. Id prefer it if it was 3rd party so u could choose which platform to get it on rather than be restricted to Nintendo. Also darksiders 2 was worse on WiiU so I'd rather see the series move forward than go backwards.
