The WiiU's Second Screen would be perfect for a Fill-in-the-Map Exploration Game

Either Action Adventure (Metroid/Castlevania) or RPG (Etrian Odyssey, Strange Journey).

I feel like this would especially work for Etrian Odyssey, with Beautiful Visuals up on the TV, while you have the Map downon the Pad, it might work better than the DS/3DS does.

Had not considered that. Strange really, given that moving things like maps to the second screen is one of the first things I imagine being done with the screen...

Yes. Something akin to that Zelda watersports or whatever that-game-with-the-clever-map-on-the-ds-was-called.

I would of loved to of seen that "Siren" horror game on this thing but sadly thats sonys property.

The first game that comes to my mind would be like a warcraft or starcraft

Agreed. Etrian Odyssey would be amazing for Wii U. Unfortunately, no one on the board seems to care very much. I have faith that the perfect setup won't be lost on Atlus though.

So basically a Metroidvania? Im down with that.

Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.
