Nintendo Fans I Found To Be The Least Knowledgeable Gamers

You know, I'll say this. You can't label an entire group just by one type of person.

Every fanbase or group is going to be mixed of different viewpoints and standards, and you'll have ignorant obsessive fanboys, as well as the opposite. You can't judge and entire fanbase by those people alone.

TC, you gave them too much to nitpick. We have some junior detectives on our hands here. Be careful with your plurals, and use "in general" a lot... you'll still get the fussing and crying, but it will be more along the lines of what you're looking for.

Lol if that's what you class as decades worth of progress the OP's statement is true. Look a tthe way other games have changed the industry - GTA3, Doom, The Elder Scrolls etc. Nintendo fans settle for the same old sidescroller but with 4 players :D

How did Doom 3 change the industry? It's just another FPS that had impressive graphics for its time. Who says games have to change the industry to be good, anyway?

Who mentioned Doom 3? Typical Nintendo fanboy IQ.

the only thing "least knowledgeable" in this topic are people who thinks that ignorance and stupidity lies in what you like and not in who you are.
People like TC can be fans of whatever they like,if they base their opinion on wrong assumptions like in the OP,their opinion will be stupid regardless of the topic.

My friend buys all of his groceries at Whole Foods, like no other store exists in suburban Chicago. It's a nice store, but I'm certain there is other products on a similar level. He ain't having one word of that! If I'm BBQing with this dude, I'm going to eat a whole foods burger and hear how great it is. If we tried the corner butcher, he'd complain about it. If I brought chips, he wouldn't like them. It's freakin dumb.

Accept the fact that you won't always find common ground.

I'm pretty sure the Xbox community is dumber.

Well, you were talking about progress and brought up Doom. Now, the original Doom revolutionized the whole FPS genre but what exactly did Doom 3 do? In the same way, Super Mario Bros revolutionized the platform game genre but Super Mario Galaxy or New Super Mario Bros U didn't have the same effect.

"I mean, the hardcore Nintendo fans. The ones that wear Nintendo clothing that have Mario, Zelda or even Yoshi on them. Many of them are of course female."

I don't know if more and more women are getting into gaming, but I don't mind at all...

can be a good thing and bad thing.

good if she isn't too serious into gaming.

bad if she start's to compete with you and other stuff.

I would know since my gf became competitive in specific games, but then again it's mostly on PC ~
