I mean, Uncharted's about as bad as Other M with the restrictive gameplay, crappy story and overdependence on cutscenes. I remember a few weeks ago you said Uncharted is full of quicktime events every minute. But I don't ever recall ever even seeing a quick time event in Uncharted 2... in fact the entire series is hyped so much because it replaces where other games would have QTE, with full player control. Does a day go by you don't post misinformation or bash things you know nothing about? |

Will that calm you down? --- Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series. Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess. |

Metroid is really unique and is unlike anything else out there.
UC is just among the newest crop of games that uses the Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones formula without offering anything really new outside of great visuals.

DesperateMonkeyPosted 1/30/2013 8:05:46 AM | Uncharted is way better if we are comparing it with the Metroid prime series. Metroid prime is a pretty mediocre shooter with bad graphics and extremely basic puzzle designs. The platforming seems to be an afterthought and collectibles are a boring joke.
Uncharted isn't a great game in my opinion. But it's got much better atmosphere much better characters and much better environments and exploration. Metroid has more to explore but it's all a lot less interesting.
