What Nintendo games make really good use of surround sound?

After asking lots of questions, I'm FINALLY getting surround sound within the next few days. Any Nintendo console at all, which games have great surround sound? I haven't tried it yet, but I have a feeling that Metroid Prime will be great, I can't wait!

Also, how does stuff like the SNES and N64 sound with Pro Logic II? I love the Donkey Kong Country soundtracks and I really want to try it with those. Should I get my hopes up? Even if it's no good (I know it's not made with Pro Logic II in mind anyway), I really want to play through the games again and hear the soundtrack with the subwoofer!

I'm really looking forward to it! It's visually beautiful, I'm imagining it's going to be an incredible experience with surround sound.

I wish I could play Xenoblade, but I don't really want to pay more than $60 for a game right now when there's so many others I want to play that are much cheaper.

Metroid Prime 3 (and the trilogy) both have Dolby Pro Logic ll and they sound great.

The sound quality of 2D games relies on the quality of your surround sound system.

I'm on my 3rd sony system and Super Metroid,DKC,Mario 64 and DK 64 sounded great on all of them because the Sony systems (and other popular brands) use good sound reproduction that can fill in the missing sound channels and expand the sound field.

Also keep in mind that the Wii U's VC may sound better than the original games since the Wii U uses Linear LPCM.

Im getting one of the cheapest 2012 models that Pioneer has to begin with. Im slowly going to upgrade as time goes on, but I cant get anything really loud and super bassy. At the moment Im taking a year off between high school and college so Im still at home, and I do a lot of my gaming at night and my parents go to bed early, so I dont want to keep them up with my gaming.

I have the 3rd from the newest Sony 7.1 hdmi 1.4 3D receiver that I bought brand new on ebay for $160,it goes for $499< in stores.

Since volume is an issue you may want to consider a 5.1/7.1 tritton headset, they're really good.
